TOUR OVERVIEW

In this package you will visit Rome (the heart of the Italian capital). You will stroll from Piazza Navona to Spanish Steps and explore the treasures of the Vatican, including St. Peter's Basilica, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Square. You will have two days at leisure where you can visit the famous Colosseum and Forum Romanum, or take a day trip to Florence or taste wine in the nearby wineries located in the Roman hills.

Itinerary

ROMAN ESCAPE starts in Rome daily.

  • DAY 1

    ROME

    Upon arrival in Rome, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. A Homeric Tours representative will contact you to set up your orientation meeting.

  • DAY 2

    ROME

    This morning you will take part in the walking tour of the heart of the Italian capital. Your local guide will lead you on a stroll from Piazza Navona to Spanish Steps. In the afternoon, you will explore the treasures of the Vatican, including St. Peter's Basilica, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Square. Evening is at leisure to dine in one of the local restaurants.

  • DAY 3 & 4

    ROME

    Two days to spend in Rome at leisure. You might visit the famous Colosseum and Forum Romanum. You might want to take a day trip to Florence or taste wine in the nearby wineries located in the Roman hills. You will have plenty of time to sample the delectable Italian cuisine and pasties.
