TOUR OVERVIEW

In this small group package millenniums of history unfold as you visit the archeological sites of Mycenae and Epidaurus. You will visit the ancient site of Olympia, the place of the ancient Olympic Games and its museum. You will continue via Patras and Rion to Delphi where you will visit the archeological site and Temple of Apollo and its museum. You will tour Athens including the Acropolis. Continue on to the jet-setting island of Mykonos and enjoy this beautiful whitewashed island which has been the favorite destination for travelers from around the world.

Itinerary

HOMERIC TREASURES starts on Sundays.

  • DAY 1, SUN

    ATHENS

    Upon arrival in Athens, you will be met by your Tour Escort and transferred to your hotel. After the check in, the afternoon is at leisure. Tonight, you will get acquainted with your fellow travelers as you enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

    ATHENS / MYCENAE / OLYMPIA

    Today your Classical Tour of Greece begins. Millenniums of history unfold as you visit the archeological sites of Mycenae and Epidaurus. Drive on the Olympia for dinner and overnight.

    OLYMPIA / DELPHI

    Morning visit of the ancient site of Olympia, place of the ancient Olympic Games and its museum. Drive via Patras and Rion to Delphi for dinner and overnight.

    DELPHI / ATHENS

    Morning visit of the archeological site of Delphi, including the Temple of Apollo, and its museum. Evening return to Athens for overnight.

    ATHENS

    Morning sightseeing city tour of Athens including the Acropolis. Spend the afternoon at leisure or try an exciting optional dinner in the Sky, where you can dine lifted high in the air while admiring the evening view of the city.

  • DAY 6, FRI

    ATHENS / PIRAEUS / MYKONOS

    Transfer to Piraeus to board your high speed ferry bound for Mykonos. Upon arrival you are transferred to your hotel for a glorious, fun filled three day stay on this jet-setting island. The reminder of the day is at leisure. Tonight you will have an option of dining at the local tavern in the bustling port of Mykonos (at extra charge)

    MYKONOS

    Enjoy this beautiful whitewashed island at leisure. For several decades Mykonos has been the favorite destination for travelers from around the world. You can also take on an optional excursion to the sacred island of Apollo - Delos. On Sunday the farewell dinner awaits you at your hotel.

    MYKONOS / ATHENS

    Morning transfer for the airport for the return flight to Athens (not included). You will return home the same day, but you can also extend your stay with a Greek Island cruise.

Homeric Tours highly recommends that all our passengers purchase travel insurance. We offer a cost-effective, comprehensive insurance plan that protects you in cases such as having to cancel your trip for medical reasons, leaving your trip early due to an emergency, getting reimbursed in case your baggage arrives late, and so on.

We offer two separate plans: one for passengers who purchase only air tickets from us and the other for passengers who purchase land-only services (hotels, cruises, transfers, etc.) or land-and-air packages.

PACKAGE RULES – HOMERIC TREASURES

  • Tours can be extended as desired.
  • Port taxes and ship gratuities of $159 are additional (only for cruise extension)
  • A Greece(accommodation)tax of up to 4 euros per person per night is additional and will need to be paid directly to the hotel upon check-out.
  • Prices are per person, based on double occupancy.
    Triple occupancy and children prices are available upon request.
