TOUR OVERVIEW

Discover the capital of Croatia, Zagreb. You will explore its culture and history, see St. Mark's Church, St. Catherine's Church, the Cathedral, Parliament and Government Palace. Travel to magnificent Plitvice Lakes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Take a walking tour around several of the lower lakes, thickly wooded mountains and lush vegetation. You will continue on to Diocletian's Palace, Split's Roman heritage and its Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter's Temple, the Peristyle and Cathedral of St. Duje. You will visit Dubrovnik "Pearl of Adriatic" and drive along the picturesque Croatian coast.

    ZAGREB

    Upon arrival in Zagreb, Croatia's capital, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day at leisure. Welcome dinner.

    ZAGREB

    Morning sightseeing tour of Zagreb to explore its culture and history. See St. Mark's Church, St. Catherine's Church, the Cathedral, Parliament and Government Palace. Remainder of the day is at leisure to explore this beautiful city on your own.

  • DAY 3, MON

    ZAGREB / PLITVICE LAKES

    Today you travel to magnificent Plitvice Lakes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Take a walking tour around several of the lower lakes surrounded by thickly wooded mountains and lush vegetation. The rest of the day is at leisure. Dinner and overnight.

  • DAY 4, TUE

    PLITVICE LAKES / TROGIR / SPLIT

    This morning we drive to Trogir, the center of artistic activities. Scholar from around the world gather here to study and paint. We continue along the spectacular Adriatic coast to the port city of Split. City tour around the Diocletian's Palace, a UNESCO site. Continue to see the remnants of Split's Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter's Temple, the Peristyle and the Cathedral. The rest of the day is at leisure.

    SPLIT

    Today is a full day at leisure or you can join an optional tour to the island of Hvar to enjoy its unique cultural and historical heritage. Overnight in Split.

  • DAY 6, THU

    DUBROVNIK

    Today we travel to the "Pearl of Adriatic", Dubrovnik. A walking tour brings you to Old Dubrovnik. Visit the Rector's Palace and see the Bell Tower Clock, Orlando's Column, Dominican Monastery and Franciscan Monastery with its Pharmacy which is one of the oldest in the world. The rest of the day is at leisure to enjoy the city your way.

  • DAY 7, FRI

    DUBROVNIK

    Today is a full day at leisure to explore more of the city of Dubrovnik. Shop, stroll along the water's edge or you can join an optional tour to the Republic of Montenegro to visit the city of Kotor known of its longest and deepest fjord in Southern Europe. In the evening join a Farewell Dinner.
