TOUR OVERVIEW

Extend your summer and embark on this magnificent Aegean Adventure. Whether you are exploring the ancient archeological sites in Athens or dancing the night away on Mykonos, you can be sure that Greece has a wonderful experience made just for you. Try snorkeling in the blue-green crystal waters. Sail along the Bosphorus Strait which divides two continents. You will see the Orient and Occident emerging. You will visit the city of Canakkale wherefrom the ship, you can spot the storied wooden Trojan horse. Sail on to Crete where you can take an excursion to the Palace of King Minos at Knossos, the center of the Minoan civilization. All this while sailing on the Aegean Sea on your 7-day cruise.

    ATHENS

    Upon arrival in Athens, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.
  • DAY 2, FRI

    ATHENS

    This morning, enjoy the sites of Athens on your half day city tour. Visits include the impressive Acropolis and its museum, the Panathenaikon Stadium, where the first modern Olympic Games took place in 1896, and much more. Spend the afternoon at leisure to explore this fascinating city on your own or join in an optional tour to Cape Sounion.

    ATHENS / PIRAEUS / CRUISE

    Enjoy the majority of this day at leisure. View the changing of the guards at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier or take a stroll through the Athens Flea Market, Monastiraki. This afternoon you will be transferred to the port in Piraeus to board the ship for your 7-day Eclectic Cruise.

    ISTANBUL

    Today is a perfect opportunity to get to know the ship and to enjoy its trademark hospitality, top notch service and onboard entertainment, as we make our way across the Aegean Sea to Istanbul. Split between two continents, this unique city boasts lavish Byzantine architecture and imperial mosques that make up the city's skyline. Afternoon arrival into Istanbul.

    ISTANBUL

    Included in your cruise fare is a sail along the Bosphorus Strait which divides two continents. As the boat weaves its way between traditional fishing boats and ferries, you'll see the Orient and Occident emerging. Keep a lookout for the glamorous 19th century Dolmabahce Palace and former Ottoman Ciragan Palace. Afterwards, you can stretch your legs with a stroll around the intricate Grand Bazaar.

    KAVALA

    Early morning arrival into Kavala. Perched on the slopes of Mt. Symvolo, this vibrant seaport resort has been a little-known favorite for centuries. Affectionately known as the "blue city", it boasts crystal clear waters an dreamy sea views. For a taste of ancient life, you can opt to explore the nearby ruins of Neapolis and Philippi, with a specialist guide bringing their stories to life.

    THESSALONIKI

    Morning arrival into the beautiful seaside city of Thessaloniki, the second largest city in Greece. There is always something to do and see - from ancient archaeological sites to contemporary art exhibitions, explore on foot and take your pick of the cafes, bakeries and independent shops and restaurants that line the streets in this bustling port city.

    VOLOS

    This morning you will arrive into the thriving university city of Volos on the foot of Mount Pelion, the land of the mythical centaurs. Explore the city on your own and uncover a variety of ancient and neoclassical architectural gems or choose from a variety of exciting excursions to visit Mt. Pelion r the breathtaking hanging monasteries of Meteora.

    SANTORINI

    This morning the ship arrives into Santorini, the volcano island and one of the most unique places in the world. The island will greet you with its striking cliffs and legendary tales. Here, you will take an excursion to Oia Village, perched on the rim of the caldera offering panoramic views of breathtaking beauty.

  • DAY 10, SAT

    PIRAEUS / ATHENS

    Return back to the port of Piraeus (at aprox. 7am) and after enjoying breakfast onboard, you will be transferred to the Athens airport for your return flight home.

PACKAGE RULES – AEGEAN ADVENTURE

  • Tours can be extended as desired.
  • Port taxes and ship gratuities of $339 are additional.
  • A Greece accommodation tax of up to 4 euros per person per night is additional and will need to be paid directly to the hotel.
  • Prices are per person, based on double occupancy.
  • Triple occupancy and children prices are available upon request.
