TOUR OVERVIEW

You will arrive in the city of Porto and take a scenic drive to your hotel through the city, to admire the rich and well-preserved treasures, including Gothic, Baroque and Neoclassical monuments. The next day you will depart for a full-day tour of Porto, where you will visit the Cathedral, Tower of Clerigos and Ribeira area, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and take a short cruise through the Douro River. Continue on to the Douro region, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where the famous Port wine is produced, the tour takes you through the Douro Valley to see the great natural beauty of the valley and of the Douro River.

Jewels of Portugal Porto Stay starts in Porto daily.

  • DAY 1

    PORTO

    Arrive Porto. You will be met and take a scenic drive to your hotel through the city, to admire the rich and well-preserved treasures, including Gothic, Baroque and Neoclassical monuments. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

  • DAY 2

    PORTO

    After breakfast at the hotel depart for a full day tour of Porto. Visit the Cathedral, Tower of Clerigos and Ribeira area, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Take a short cruise through the Douro River before visiting the museum of Serralves followed by a visit to a Port wine cellar.

  • DAY 3

    PORTO / DOURO REGION / PORTO

    Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Douro region, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where the famous port wine is produced. The tour will take you through the Douro Valley to see the great natural beauty of the Valley and of the Douro River.

  • DAY 4

    PORTO / BRAGA / GUIMARAES / PORTO

    Morning departure for Braga in the Minho Region. Continue to Guimaraes, a city full of history and beauty and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Return to Porto for overnight.

    After breakfast at the hotel you will be transferred to airport.

The train station is around 1 km away and Foz beach is roughly 10 km from the hotel, while the airport is located around 20 km away.
