TOUR OVERVIEW

Explore Rome with its famous churches, piazzas and marvelous Colosseum. Sail on you 7-Day Mediterranean Cruise to Livorno, the cradle of Renaisance, city of Florence. Sail on to Cannes, France the pearl of the French Riviera, home of the rich and famous, and location of Europe's largest film festival. Next port of call is Palma De Mallorca, Spain, the largest of the Balearic Islands, it offers a combination of the cosmopolitan city center of Pala de Mallorca with the rugged landscapes of a volcanic island. Continue to sail to Barcelona the second largest city and the heart of the region of Catalonia. You can stroll around the streets of Barcelona and you will find surprises at every turn. Last port of call is Naples, Italy, the city where pizza was invented, you will visit the ancient ruins of Pompeii. The city was destroyed by the eruption of Mount Vesuvio.

    ROME

    Upon arrival in Rome, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure.
  • DAY 2, WED

    ROME / CRUISE

    After breakfast at the hotel you will have a chance to explore Rome with its famous churches, piazzas and marvelous Colosseum during your guided walking tour. After that you will be transferred to the port of Venice to embark the Norwegian Epic. You will start your cruise in the late afternoon.

    LIVORNO, ITALY

    Livorno is just a short drive away from one of the world’s treasures, the cradle of Renaissance, city of Florence. You can admire the famous Duomo and colorful Ponte Vecchio, as well as visit the galleries of Uffizi and Academia. On the way back to the ship, you can stop by one of the most photographed sites of the world, the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

    CANNES, FRANCE

    The pearl of the French Riviera is on your schedule today. The fashionable city of Cannes is not only the home of rich and famous, but also the location of Europe’s largest film festival. It is only a short drive away from the principality of Monaco, famous for its Casino Royal and of course, the Formula 1 street race.

    PALMA DE MALLORCA, SPAIN

    The largest of the Balearic Islands, Mallorca offers a combination of the cosmopolitan city center of Palma de Mallorca with the rugged landscapes of a volcanic island. Its history and culture was shaped by the periods of Byzantine, Muslim and today’s Catalonian influences creating a fascinating character of the island.

    BARCELONA, SPAIN

    Barcelona, Spain’s second largest city and the heart of the region of Catalonia, is a cosmopolitan city with Roman remains, medieval quarters and the most beautiful examples of 20th century Modernism and avant-garde. The city is most well-known for Gaudi’s unfinished cathedral, La Sagrada Familia, the pedestrian street Las Ramblas and for soccer lovers, the home of Lionel Messi. Stroll around the streets of Barcelona and you will find surprises at every turn. Pedestrian streets in the old quarter, green spaces, and a splendid seafront with a range of modern facilities are a reflection of its multi-faceted character.

    DAY AT SEA

    You will spend a relaxing day at sea enjoying the ship’s countless facilities, restaurants, pools and shops.

    NAPLES, ITALY

    Naples is said to be the city where pizza was invented, so today would be a perfect day to try this Italian specialty. You will also visit the ancient ruins of Pompeii. The city was destroyed by the eruption of Mount Vesuvio. You may also consider taking a stunning drive along the Amalfi Coast to admire the towns of Sorrento, Ravello and Amalfi.

  • Prices are per person based on double occupancy.
  • Triple occupancy and children prices are available upon request.
  • Port taxes and ship gratuities of $201 are additional.
  • Hotels featured above, may be substituted, according to the availability.
  • Tours can be extended as desired, please inquire.
  • Rome city tax is not included and must be paid locally to the hotels.

PASSPORT/VISA: (It is recommended that your passport have at least six months of validity whenever you travel abroad to avoid unintended travel disruptions. Because rules and regulations frequently change, please inquire about passports validity and visas from the consulate of the foreign country you will visit. CURRENCY: (The unit of currency is the Euro. Coinage is available in denominations of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 and 50 cents with 1 and 2 Euros. Bank notes come in units of 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200 and 500 Euros. We suggest you exchange your money in a bank, as opposed to the hotel, in order to get the best exchange rate. Banks are open from 8am to 1:30pm and 3:00-4:00pm from Monday to Friday.)
