DAY 1, THU - USA:
Depart USA for an overnight flight to Venice. Full service on board.
DAY 2, FRI - VENICE:
Arrival in Venice. A Homeric Tours representative
welcomes you to Italy and transfers you to your
hotel. Rest of your day at leisure.
DAY 3, SAT - VENICE:
After breakfast at your hotel, enjoy a half-day
tour of Venice. Visit St. Mark's Square, Doge's
Palace, the Bridge of Sighs, the beauty of the famed
Murano glassware and the romance of the gondola's
gliding along the canals. Rest of your day at
leisure. (B)
DAY 4, SUN - VENICE / CRUISING:
Afternoon transfer to the pier to board your
7-daty cruise. Evening departure from Venice. (B,D)
DAYS 5, MON - BARI:
Enjoy sometime in Bari, where you will see fairy
tale houses that resemble chanterelle mushrooms and
little round houses with one-topped roofs called
trulli, both dating back to 3000 BC. (B,L,D)
DAY 6, TUE - AT SEA:
Today, enjoy your day at sea. Take advantage of
ship board activities. (B,L,D)
DAY 7, WED - SANTORINI / MYKONOS:
This morning arrive in Santorini, the most
spectacular of the Greek islands. Take an
optional excursion to the excavation site of
Akrotiri or stroll the town of Fira and enjoy
the view Sail on to the cosmopolitan island of
Mykonos. Enjoy a drink on the waterfront or shop
the chic boutiques. (B,L,D)
DAY 8, THU - PIRAEUS / ATHENS:
Early morning arrival at the Athenian port of
Piraeus. Take an optional tour to the Acropolis
and its temples. Stroll through the Plaka, the
colorful old quarter. If you choose, travel
outside of Athens to Cape Sounion and the Temple
of Poseidon. (B,L,D)
DAY 9, FRI - CORFU:
Arrive in Corfu, the crown jewel of the Ionian
Islands. Take an optional tour to the Old Town
or Achilleion Palace, named by Empress Elizabeth
of Austria for Achilles. (B,L,D)
DAY 10, SAT - DUBROVNIK:
Today arrive in Dubrovnik, the ancient city set on
a peninsula and surrounded by a 1,000 year old
protective wall. It is said to be one of the
prettiest spots in the world, as if you stepped
back in time. (B,L,D)
DAY 11, SUN - VENICE / USA:
Disembark the ship at the port of Venice. Upon
arrival you will be met and transferred to the
airport for your return flight home. (B,L)
