6-Nights Pafos

Day 1: Pafos
Arrive in Larnaca. You will be met and transferred to your hotel in Pafos. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 2: Pafos
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. Full day at leisure to relax by the beach. (B)
Day 3: Pafos
Today enjoy a full day at leisure or explore on your own this beautiful town which is the home to many treasures. Admire the mosaics in villas dating back to the Roman period depicting scenes from Greek mythology. Visit the equally impressive underground Tombs of the Kings carved out of solid rock and decorated with Doric pillars. Or visit the St. Paulís Pillar where legend has it the Apostle was flogged before converting the Roman governor to Christianity and making Cyprus the first country in the world to be governed by a Christian. Day 4: pafos / kourion / apsiou / monagri / omodhos
After breakfast your tour begins with a trip to Kourion, one of the most impressive archaeological sites of the island. Visit the House of Eustolios with its 5th century mosaics and Roman baths. Next stop is the castle of Kolossi. This Crusader era castle is surrounded by flowering plants and a pretty courtyard. Lunch at the village of Apsiou. In the next village of Monagri try some of the traditional sweets, Loukoumades. Continue to the Troodos Mountains to visit the village of Omodhos where your will have free time to wander its narrow streets with Byzantine buildings. The village produces a lot of wine and holds a wine festival every August. Before leaving sample some of the delicious wines produced in this region. At the end of the tour a photo stop is scheduled at the Petra of Romiou, an off-shore rock where, according to mythology, the Goddess of Love, Aphrodite, rose from the waves. (B,L)
Day 5: Pafos
Day at leisure. An optional tour may be arranged to visit Lemesos, the beautiful seaside town, with many cultural treasures or sign-up for a Donkey Safari, a unique style to discover the island on the back of a trusty donkey. (B)
Day 6: Pafos
Day at leisure. Enjoy the sun and the sea and at night join the local people in the restaurants and try the traditional meal, 'meze', and one of the many outstanding varieties of Cypriot wine. (B)
Day 7: Pafos
After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport in Larnaca. (B)

The tour on day 3 may operate on a different day during your stay. Visitors to all monasteries and churches are requested to be properly dressed.
