DAY 1, SAT ATHENS |
|
Upon arrival in Athens, you will be met and
transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day at
leisure. |

DAY 2, SUN ATHENS |
|
After breakfast at your hotel, board your motor
coach for your sightseeing tour of Athens. Visits
include the Acropolis, the Acropolis Museum, the
Panathenaikon Stadium, where the first modern
Olympic Games took place in 1896, and more.

DAY 3, MON ATHENS / PIRAEUS / MYKONOS |
|
After breakfast, transfer to Piraeus to board the
4-night cruise. Arrive in Mykonos known for
the hundreds of chapels that dot the island and
the many sandy beaches. Here you can enjoy
a fun-filled afternoon and evening. Walk the
cobblestone streets, visit the many shops and
enjoy a drink while taking in the view of the
sunset over the blue Aegean Sea. (B,L,D) |

DAY 4, TUE KUSADASI / PATMOS |
|
Arrive in Kusadasi and take an optional
excursion to the ancient city of Ephesus. Arrive
in Patmos, the island where St. John the Divine
wrote the Book of Revelation. The optional
excursion will take you to the Monastery and

DAY 5, WED RHODES |
|
Arrive in Rhodes where you will spend a full day.
Take an optional excursion of the city of Rhodes
and the Acropolis of Lindos to visit the Temple

DAY 6, THU HERAKLION / SANTORINI |
|
Arrive in Heraklion, the capital of Crete. Take an
optional excursion to the Palace of King Minos
at Knossos, the center of the Minoan civilization.
Sail on to Santorini, the volcano island, one of
the most unforgettable places in the world. Walk
along the narrow streets of the town of Thera or
visit the beautiful village of Oia, perched on the
rim of the caldera offering panoramic views of

DAY 7, FRI PIRAEUS / CAIRO |
|
Disembark after breakfast and transfer to the
airport for your flight to Cairo. Upon arrival in
Cairo, you will be met and transferred to your

DAY 8, SAT CAIRO / ASWAN / NILE CRUISE |
|
After breakfast transfer to the airport for the
flight to Aswan. Upon arrival you will be
transferred to your cruise ship. After lunch
visit the High Dam, masterpiece of modern
engineering built to end the disastrous Nile
floods. Continue to the Temple of Philae and
unfinished Obelisk. (B,L,D) |

DAY 9, SUN NILE CRUISE |
|
After breakfast sail to Kom Ombo to visit the
temple shared by two gods, Sobek and
Haeroris. Sail to Edfu. (B,L,D) |

DAY 10, MON NILE CRUISE |
|
Morning visit of the 2000 year old well
preserved Temple of Horus. Sail to Luxor via
Esna. (B,L,D) |

DAY 11, TUE NILE CRUISE / LUXOR /cairo |
|
After breakfast visit the most important area
of the Nile, the West Bank. The Valley of
Kings containing the secretive tombs of
New Kingdom Pharaohs, the Valley of
Queens, the temple of Queen Hatshepsut
and Colossi Memnon. Continue to the East
Bank to visit the Karnak & the Luxor
Temples before returning to Cairo. Upon
arrival at Cairo airport, you will be met and
transferred to your hotel. The rest of the

DAY 12, WED CAIRO |
|
After breakfast begin your full day tour,
visiting the Egyptian Museum, home of the
worlds greatest collections of antiquities
from the Pharaonic period. Continue your
sightseeing to Giza Pyramids. Examine
Karnak Temple, Luxor Cheops 4500 year old
Great Pyramid. Explore the pyramids built
by Mycerinus and Chepheren and beware
the mighty Sphinx protector of the Pharaohs.
Visit the famous Khan El Khalili Bazaar
before returning to your hotel for overnight (B) |

DAY 13, THU CAIRO / USA |
|
You will be transferred to the airport for your
return flight home. (B) |

- The sequence of the Nile cruise itinerary may vary slightly depending on the cruise ship. - Swiss Inn Radamis II sails on Saturdays from Aswan. - Movenpick Royal Lotus sails on Saturdays from Luxor. - Passengers sailing on the Royal Lotus will begin the cruise on Saturday, but the cruise itinerary will operate in reverse. - In the event of the Esna Lock closing, the sightseeing to Luxor will be operated by motor coach.
