DAY 1, FRI: TEL AVIV
Arrival in Tel Aviv. You will be met and transfer to your hotel in Jerusalem. Rest of the day at leisure.
DAY 2, SAT: JERUSALEM / BETLEHEM
After breakfast begin your tour. Drive to Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of the city. Enter the Old City and walk through the Armenia Jewish quarters to the recently excavated and restored Cardo, The Roman road. See the Jewish Wall, the Kotel, and continue to the Christian Quarter. Walk along the Via Dolorosa and visit the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Continue to Bethlehem* for an overview of Shepherds' Field; Visit the Church of Nativity and Manger's square. *Note: you must carry your passport on this day. (B)
DAY 3, SUN: NAZARETH / SEA OF GALILEE
Depart Jerusalem via the Coastal Road and the Landscape of the lower Galilee to Nazareth, the town where Jesus spent his childhood. Visit the Church of Annunciation and the Church of St. Joseph. Continue, via Kana, to Tiberius, the lovely resort town. Drive along the Kineret Lake to visit Capernaum and view the ruins of the ancient synagogue where Jesus taught; Continue to Tabgha, the site of the Miracle of Fish and Loaves, located at the foot of the Golan Heights. Proceed to Yardenit, the famous Baptismal site where the Jordan River leaves the Sea of Galilee towards the Dead Sea. Return to your hotel for overnight. (B)
DAY 4, MON: JERUSALEM / LEMESOS
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Larnaca, the airport of Cyprus. Upon arrival in Larnaca, you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Lemesos. (B)
DAY 5, TUE: LEMESOS
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. Spend the day at leisure or explore on your own this beautiful sea side town. Visit the medieval Lemesos Castle, now a museum, which was the site of the royal wedding between the King of England, Richard the Lionheart and Berengaria of Navarre. Visit the Folk Art Museum, the Colossi Castle, the lush Municipal Gardens or walk on ten miles of beautiful beaches admiring the scenery. (B)
DAY 6, WED: LEMESOS
Full day at leisure to relax by the beach or hire a car and drive to Pafos, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site. (B)
DAY 7, THU: LEMESOS / ATHENS
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Athens. Upon arrival in Athens, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. (B)
DAY 8, FRI: ATHENS / PIRAEUS / MYKONOS
After breakfast transfer to Piraeus to board the 3-night cruise to the Greek Island and Turkey. Your first port-of-call is Mykonos. Enjoy the whitewashed houses and the picturesque windmills. (B,L,D) (B,L,D)
DAY 9, SAT: KUSADAS/ PATMOS
Arrive in Kusadasi where you may take an optional excursion to the ancient city of Ephesus and the House of Virgin Mary. Then on to Patmos, where you may take an optional excursion to the Monastery and Cave, where John the Divine wrote the Book of Revelation. (B,L,D)
DAY 10, SUN: HERAKLION / SANTORINI
Arrive in Heraklion, the capital of Crete. Take an optional excursion to the Place of Knossos, the center of the Minoan civilization. Sail on to Santorini, the volcano island, one of the most unforgettable places in the word. Walk along the narrow streets of the town of Thera or visit the beautiful village of Oia, perched on the rim of the caldera offering panoramic views of breathtaking beauty. (B,L,D)
DAY 11, MON: PIRAEUS / ANCIENT
Return to Piraeus. Disembark after breakfast and begin your tour to Ancient Corinth. Drive along the scenic coast to Corinth Canal with its breathtaking views before reaching Ancient Corinth where St. Paul lived and preached for two years. Visit the remains of this city, including the huge "agora" (market place) and Apollo's Temple. Pass the ancient port of Kechreai where St. Paul disembarked. Return to Athens. Afternoon at leisure. DAY 12, TUE: ATHENS
After breakfast board the motor coach for your Athens city tour. Visit includes the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum, Panathenaikon Stadium, where the first modern Olympic Games took place in 1896, and much more. Afternoon at leisure. (B)
DAY 13, WED: ATHENS
After breakfast transfer to Athens airport. (B)
