Day 1, Sun: Athens:
Upon arrival in Athens, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 2, Mon: Athens / Mycenae / Olympia:
Today begin your Classical Tour of Greece. Millenniums of history unfold as you visit the archaeological sites of Mycenae and Epidaurus. Drive on to Olympia for dinner and overnight. (B,D)
Day 3, Tue: Olympia / Delphi:
Morning visit of the ancient site of Olympia, site of the ancient Olympic Games and its museum. Drive via Patras and Rion to Delphi for dinner and overnight. (B,D)
Day 4, Wed: Delphi / Athens:
Morning visit of the archaeological site of Delphi, including the Temple of Apollo and its museum. Evening return to Athens for overnight. (B)
Day 5, Thu- Athens:
Morning sightseeing tour of Athens including the Acropolis. Spend the afternoon at leisure or take an optional tour to Cape Sounion. (B)
This morning, transfer to Lavrion to board your 7-day cruise to the Greek Islands and Turkey. Tonight you will enjoy the shipboard activities. (B,L,D)
Day 7, Sat: ISTANBUL:
Morning arrival in Istanbul. Take an optional excursion to the city of Istanbul where you will visit the sites of the city including Aghia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, the Blue Mosque and much more. (B,L,D)
Day 8, Sun: KUSADASI:
This morning, enjoy the shipboard activities before a mid-afternoon arrival into Kusadasi. From Kusadasi, you can take an optional excursion to the ancient city of Ephesus, the most sublime ancient city in Asia Minor. (B,L,D)
Day 9, Mon: Santorini:
You will spend the majority of today in Santorini, the volcano island, one of the most unforgettable places in the world. Walk around the narrow streets of the town of Thira or visit the beautiful village of Oia, perched on the rim of the caldera offering panoramic views of breathtaking beauty. (B,L,D)
Day 10, Tue: Crete (AGIOS NICOLAOS):
Early morning arrival into Agios Nicolaos, one of Crete's resort areas. A highlight of this visit is an optional excursion to the Palance of Knossos, which was the center of the Minoan civilization and home of the mythical Minotaur kept by King minos. (B,L,D)
Day 11, Wed: RHODES / SYMI:
Arrive in the island of Rhodes this morning. Opt to take an excursion to the city of Rhodes and the rocky Acropolis of Lindos to visit the Temple of Athena. Sail on to the scenic island of Symi, with its precipitous cliffs and small bays, where you will spend the afternoon. (B,L,D)
Day 12, Thu: CHIOS / MYKONOS:
Morning visit to Chios, the fifth largest island in Greece. This island, known for its production of a special type of resin, is home to more than 30 monasteries and many medieval villages. Sail on to Mykonos where you will enjoy the whitewashed houses, picturesque windmills and lively town with its many restaurants and chic boutiques. (B,L,D)
Day 13, Fri: LAVRION / ATHENS:
Return to Lavrion (approximately 6 am at port). Disembark after breakfast and transfer to Athens airport. (B)
