DAY 1, MON: JERUSALEM |
|
Arrival in Tel Aviv. You will be met and transferred to your hotel in Jerusalem. Rest of the day at leisure. |

DAY 2, TUE: JERUSALEM (THE NEW CITY)/pjp |
|
Start the day with a panoramic view of Jerusalem from the top of Mount of Olives. Proceed to the Garden of Gethsemane and Church of the Agony and continue to Israel Museum’s Shrine of the Book with the famous Dead Sea Scrolls and the Yad Vashem memorial. Afternoon visit the picturesque village of Ein Karem, the birth place of John the Baptist. (B,D) |

DAY 3, WED: JERUSALEM (OLD CITY) / BETHLEHEM |
|
Walk through one of the Gates to the walled Old City of Jerusalem to explore the Western Wall, the Temple area and the colorful bazaars, Walk along the Via Dolorosa and the Stations of the Cross ending at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Drive to Mt. Zion and visit the tomb of King David, the Room of the Last Supper and Dormition Abbey. Continue to Bethlehem* to visit the Church of the Nativity. Return to Jerusalem. (B,D) |

DAY 4, THU: BEIT SHEAN / NAZARETH / GALILEE |
|
Leave Jerusalem and drive north to Beit Shean to
visit the excavations of the Roman and Byzantine
periods. Proceed to Nazareth to visit the Church
of Annunciation and Mary’s Well. Continue to
Safed, city of Kabala movement. Drive to a
Kibbutz hotel for overnight. (B,D) |

DAY 5, FRI: GOLAN HEIGHTS / SEA OF GALILEE |
|
Drive to Golan Heights and then along the shores of the Sea of Galilee to Capernaum to visit the ruins of the ancient synagogue and Peter’s House. Visit Tabgha, where the miracle of the Fish & Bread took place and Mt. Beatitude. After a short tour of Tiberias return to the Kibbutz hotel for overnight. (B,D) |

DAY 6, SAT: ACRE / HAIFA / TEL AVIV |
|
Drive west to Acre. Continue to Haifa for a sightseeing tour including the Bahai Shrine, Persian Garden and Mount Carmel for a panoramic view of the city and the bay. Drive along the coast to Caesarea and end the day with a short tour of Tel Aviv and Jaffa. Overnight in Tel Aviv. (B,D) |
