day 1, sat: cairo
Arrival in Cairo. A Homeric Tours representative welcomes you to Egypt and transfers you to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.
day 2, sun: cairo
After breakfast begin your full day tour. Visit the Great Pyramid, built 4500 years ago and sneak a peek at the inner of Pharoh Chephren"s pyramid, and beware the mighty Sphinx, protector of the Pharos. After lunch drive to Memphis, Ancient Egypt's first capital where you will discover Sakkara, the necropolis of this city and site of Djoser's step Pyramid. (B,L)
day 3, mon: cairo
After breakfast begin a full day tour visiting the Egyptian Museum, containing the largest colection from the Pharaonic period. Afternoon tour to the Citadel of Saladin, the Mosque of Mohamed Ali, Old Cairo's Coptic Church and the century-old Ben Ezra Synagogue, followed by a visit to Khan El Khalili bazaar. Tonight you will attend the spectacular Sound and Light show at the Pyramids in Cairo. (B)
day 4, tue: cairo /aswan / nile cruise
After breakfast transfer to the airport for the flight to Aswan. Upon arrival you will be transferred to cruise ship. After lunch sail on the Nile by Felucca around Kitchener's island. Evening activitues on board the cruise. (B,L,D)
day 5, wed: nile cruise
This morning tour High Dam, the temple of Philae and unfinished Obelisk. Sail to Kom Ombo. After lunch visit the Ptolemaic temple shared by gods, Haeronis & Sobek. Sail to Edfu. (B,L,D)
day 6, thu: nile cruise
After breakfast visit the 2000 year old, well preserved Temple of Horus. Return to the ship for lunch. Sail to Luxor via Esna. (B,L,D)
day 7, fri: nile cruise
Visit the most important area of the Nile by crossing to West bank to visit the Valley of the Kings and Queens where the tombs of the Great Pharaohs with exquisite colors on walls, still visible from thousands of years ago. Continue to the temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El- Deir El- Bahari before returning to the ship for lunch. Afternoon tea during sailing to Luxor. (B,L,D)
day 8, sat: nile cruise / luxor
Disembark after breakfast and transfer to your hotel in Luxor. Today visit Dendarah to see the temple of Hathor, which dates from the first century and took about 100 years to build. Overnight in Luxor. (B)
day 9, sun: luxor
After breakfast visit the Luxor Museum, Nobles Tomb and Habu Temple. Overnight at your hotel in Luxor. (B,L)
day 10, mon: luxor / cairo
Transfer to Luxor Airport for your flight to Cairo. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. (B)
day 11, tue: cairo
After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport. (B)

The sequence of the Nile cruise itinerary may vary slightly depending on the cruise ship.

The above itinerary is based on the Movenpick Royal Lotus, sailing from Aswan on Tuesday

Passengers sailing on the Movenpick Royal Lily and the Movenpick Hamees will begin the cruise on Monday from Luxor. The cruise itinerary will operate in reverse. The full day Cairo tour will be given on Monday after the cruise. 

In the even of Esna Lock closing ,  the sightseeing to Luxor will be operated by motor coach.
