   DAY 1, MON – USA:
Depart USA for an overnight flight to Athens. Full service on board.

   DAY 2, TUE – ATHENS:
Arrival in Athens. A Homeric representative welcomes you to Greece and transfers you to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

   DAY 3, WED – ATHENS:
Morning sightseeing tour of Athens. Visits include the Acropolis and its museum. Spend the afternoon at leisure, or explore this fascinating city on your own. (B)

  DAY 4, THU – ATHENS:
Today is free. Spend some time viewing the changing of the guards at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. (B)

   DAY 5, FRI – ATHENS / PIRAEUS / CRUISE:
Transfer to Piraeus to board the 7 Day cruise to the Greek Islands, Turkey and Egypt. Today, enjoy the shipboard activities. (B,L,D)

   DAY 6, SAT – ISTANBUL:
Take an optional excursion to the city of Istanbul where you will visit Haghia Sophia Church, now a museum, the Topkapi Palace, the Blue Mosque and much more. (B,L,D)

   DAY 7, SUN – KUSADASI:
Arrive in Kusadasi, a harbor town of Turkey on the Aegean Sea. Take an optional excursion to the ancient city of Ephesus, founded by colonists from Athens in the 10th century B.C. (B,L,D)

   DAY 8, MON – RHODES:
Arrive in Rhodes where you can take an optional excursion to the Acropolis of Lindos to visit the Temple of Athena. (B,L,D)

  DAY 9, TUE – ALEXANDRIA:
Arrive in Alexandria the second largest city in Egypt, founded by Alexander the Great in 331 BC. Alexandria was known for the Lighthouse, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and the Library, the largest in the ancient world. Take an optional tour through the desert to Cairo and Giza to visit the Pyramids and the Sphinx. (B,L,D)

  DAY 10, WED – ALEXANDRIA:

After lunch depart Alexandria for your next destination, Santorini. Enjoy your afternoon at sea. Take advantage of ship board activities. (B,L,D)

 

   DAY 11, THU – SANTORINI:
Arrive in Santorini where you take an optional excursion to the excavation of Akrotiri where recent Minoan excavations support the theories that Santorini might be the fabled continent of Atlantis. (B,L,D)


  DAY 12, FRI – PIRAEUS / ATHENS / USA:
Return to Piraeus. Disembark after breakfast and transfer to the airport for the return flight home. (B)
