   DAY 1, SAT – USA:
Depart USA for an overnight flight to Athens. Full service on board.

   DAY 2, SUN – ATHENS:
Arrive Athens. You will be met by a Homeric representative and transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

  DAY 3, MON – ATHENS / PIRAEUS / MYKONOS:
After breakfast, transfer to Piraeus to board the 4-day cruise. Arrive Mykonos, known for its hundreds of chapels that dot the island, in the late afternoon. (B,L,D)

  DAY 4, TUE – KUSADASI / PATMOS:
Morning arrival in Kusadasi. This morning enjoy shipboard activities or visit the many shops in this picturesque town. Please note: The excursion to Ephesus and visit to the house of Virgin Mary, is included on the 4 night tour of Turkey (see day 155 of this itinerary). Arrive in Patmos, the island where St. John the Divine wrote the Book of Revelation. The optional excursion will take you to the Monastery and Cave. (B,L,D)


   DAY 5, WED – RHODES:

The next port-of-call is Rhodes where you’ll spend the full day. Enjoy the optional excursion to the city of Rhodes, Museum and the rocky Acropolis of Lindos to visit the Temple of Athena. (B,L,D)

 

  DAY 6, THU – HERAKLION / SANTORINI:
Arrive Heraklion, the capital of Crete. Take an optional excursion to the city of Heraklion, Museum and the Palace of King Minos at Knossos. Sail on to Santorini. Take an optional excursion to the excavation site at Akrotiri where recent Minoan excavations support the theories that Santorini might be the fabled lost continent of Atlantis. (B,L,D)


  DAY 7, FRI – PIRAEUS / ATHENS:
Disembark after breakfast. Transfer to your hotel. Remainder of your day at leisure to explore this fascinating city on your own. (B)


  DAY 8, SAT – ATHENS:
This morning, enjoy a half-day city tour of Athens. Visits include the Acropolis and its famous on-site museum, Greek Orthodox Cathedral, Temple of Olympian Zeus and much more. Spend your afternoon as you wish. (B)

  DAY 9, SUN – ATHENS / ISTANBUL:
Breakfast and transfer to the airport for your flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel for check-in. This afternoon, enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour of Istanbul with visits to St.
Sophia, Blue Mosque and Hippodrome. (B)


 DAY 10, MON – ISTANBUL:

After breakfast, enjoy a half-day tour of Istanbul visiting Topkapi Palace and the Grand Bazaar. Afternoon at leisure. (B)

 

   DAY 11, TUE – ISTANBUL / ANKARA / CAPPADOCIA:
Early morning transfer to the airport for your flight to Ankara. Upon arrival, you will be met. Drive to Ankara, Capital of Turkey, visit the famous Museum of Ancient Civilization and more. Proceed to Cappadocia. After lunch, proceed to Cappadocia. Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia. (B,L,D)


  DAY 12, WED – CAPPADOCIA:
Breakfast and board the motor coach for the full day tour of Cappadocia. Visits include the natural citadel of Uchisar and the Subterranean City of Kaymakli built in the 7th century by Christians fleeing persecution. Time to shop for famous Turkish carpets. Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia. (B,L,D).

  DAY 13, THU – CAPPADOCIA / KONYA /  PAMUKKALE:
Breakfast and depart for Konya. Visit the Museum of Mevlana, housing the famous Whirling Derwishes and continue to Pamukkale. Arrive Pamukkale and enjoy the sunset with its unique formation of petrified calcium cliffs. Dinner and overnight in Pamukkale. (B,L,D)

  DAY 14, FRI – PAMUKKALE / KUSADASI:
After breakfast, first visit the ruins of Hierapolis and then visit the city’s Roman and early Christian remains. Visit Pamukkale’s thermal cascades. Drive to Aphrodisias, lunch upon arrival and then a visit of the city. Continue to Kusadasi. Dinner and overnight. (B,L,D)


  DAY 15, SAT – KUSADASI-IZMIR / ISTANBUL:

After breakfast, visit the city of Ephesus. Follow with a visit to the house of Virgin Mary. Continue to the city of Ephesus. After lunch, drive to the airport for your flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival, you will be met and
transferred to your hotel. (B,L)

 

  DAY 16, SUN – ISTANBUL / USA:

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your return flight home. Arrive the same day. (B)
